Aphrodisiac Value Of Eurycomo Longfolia Jack aka Tongkat Ali
As early as 1968 scientific research was conducted on Eurycomo longfolia Jack (Tongkat Ali). At that time the scientist were looking for natural chemical and had identified the following phytochemical components extractable into the organic solvent, such as methanol, dichloromethane or chloroform:
The water soluble extract contains mainly phenolic components, tannins, high molecular weight, polysaccharide, glycoprotein and mucopolysacharides. It is belief that these water components are biologically active in rendering some of the observed properties. Currently these components are being characterized and intensive studies on the properties of these components are being vigorously examined by Malaysian, Japanese and American scientist.
Boosting Androgen levels is particularly important if you are a man attempting to have a child later in life. While not experiencing the precipitous drop that women do during menopause, male androgen levels decrease from 100% during the mid-20's to around 20% as a senior citizen. Nutritional deficiency, increased EMS exposure, stress and pollution all serve to magnify these declines. Studies show a world-wide decline of in male testosterone levels of approximately 50%.

Tongkat Ali incites the
testes to produce more testosterone on their own by sending signal to the
hypothalamus and the pituitary glands, and NOT by supplying exogenous
testosterone. Synthetic testosterone (anabolic steroids) can supplement your
body with testosterone, but steroids interfere awkwardly with male sexuality,
causing penile and testicular shrinkage.
When testosterone levels are elevated, the sex hormones (androgens and
estrogens) will signal your body to decrease or stop its own testosterone
production, this is call "negative feedback". Tongkat Ali intercepts the
negative feedback to the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, which results in the
body to continuing to produce testosterone at elevated levels. Because the
testes are in full testosterone production mode, the penis and testicles will
increase in size. Further studies on

Since 1994, different authorities had carried out various scientific experiment on the aphrodisiac properties of Eurycomo longfolia Jack aka Tongkat Ali aka Long Jack

Experimental Animals (Tokyo) 46(4) 1997 287-90. In the test carried out by the lab, the extract of Eurycomo longfolia Jack (Tongkat Ali) has aphrodisiac effects in the experiment on animals. It increases the number of times and length of the sexual performance of the animal under study.
Experiment carried out by a team of scientist in the University of Malaya showed that the water soluble extracts from Eurycomo longfolia Jack (Tongkat Ali) have the following effects.
1) In vitro test on human testicular tissue homogenates showed Eurycomo longfolia Jack (Tongkat Ali) water soluble extract increased the formation of testosterone (male sex hormones) by 4.4 fold.
2) Studies conducted on animals showed significant changes in the male-female ratio. i.e. 3:1 ratio in the treated group compared to 1:1 in the untreated group.
3) Experiment conducted also showed that the water soluble extract has the ability to increase the sperm concentration, percentage of progressive sperm and the mobility rate. The result contain suggested that Eurycomo longfolia Jack (Tongkat Ali) extract could increase the quality and the quantity and motility of the sperm thereby increase the fertility rate. Increased testosterone not only directly improves spermatogenesis and the production of healthy sperm. It also increases metabolism
